My computer is giving me fits today. I've gone from not being able to post the answers to the Black Camel Bonus Question -- The Answers to having TWO sets of it to managing to delete both!

So here I go again--and if you don't see a post for at least 24 hours, you'll know why!--

The actress playing Charlie's # 1 daughter at the family table in Black Camel is Ivy Ling. She has the uncredited part of Lee's romantic interest (albeit on the phone!) in Shanghai!

She's listed as "Bo Ling" in the credits to Calling Philo Vance (with James Stephenson as Vance) in the remake of William Powell as Vance in The Kennel Murder Case. Her part of the maid was originally played by James Lee as Liang, the butler.

As to what the following movies have in common: Black Camel, Monte Carlo, Honolulu, Shadows Over Chinatown, and Shanghai Chest? They all have meals, from the family meal with Ivy Ling as # 1 Daughter to Tommy chowing down Chop Suey in Shadows Over Chinatown!
